Stampotique - Welcome to your 21st

Well this was suppose to be a 21st card for my nephew but never quite made it.  Problem is I need to make two of everything and it just took forever to come up with this one that Lord knows where the heck I've put the other little key embellishment.  Especially since moving house - I suspect it will be a one off card.

STAMP:
Welcome Door (Stampotique.com)
Eric (Stampotique.com)

INKS :
Distress Ink Pads (Ranger) - combination of colours as desired.
Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)

PAPERS:
Bazzill brown
White for stamping & insert.
Acetate

ACCESSORIES
Copic Markers - Brown tones
Key embellishment and brad
Fleur Di lis Punch (Carl Craft)
Circle Punch or circle die

Cut out the circle in the door & insert.  Covered the hole from the inside of the card in acetate and lined the card.
Sponged a background in the insert using the distressed inks and stamped "Eric" on scrap.  Coloured him in and cut him out & pasted him inside the card.
Used the Fleur Di lis as the hinges for the door.
**Note :You have to make a hole to the insert of the card to & make sure it lines up when constructing it.

Hope you like it.
Check out www.Stampotique.com      Love their stamps..

If you ever want to do a workshop together  - let me know.  I could use the practise and the imput.

Tulip Trio's - Blockheads

Hi.  Long time  - No Blog.  Well I've been quite busy crafting just in the last couple of weeks and thought I'd load a few of my creations.  Some copied.  Some inspired and some original.  Yes.  I've actually  - finally come up with a few of my own cards.
These are my own design:

Tulip Card Set (fit C6 envelope)
STAMPS :
Itty Bitty Background (Stampin Up - retired stamp)
Weathered (Stampin Up - retired stamp)
Tulips (Blockheads.com)
INKS :
Stampin Up
PAPERS :
White
Various coloured card stock.
ACCESSORIES:
Copic Markers

The Tulips heads were stamped onto scrap card stock and the middle cut out and mounted to give a 3D effect.
The edges of the white card were sponged with the main colour accent.
All the cards have a insert with a tulip motif as does the envelop.

Hope you like them.
**Unfortunately Blockheads.com have/are closing down and these lovely stamps and their other lovely designs, which came on rubber sheets will no longer be available.
