Xmas Cards 2010

I was actually proactive this year with my Xmas cards and did manage to get a few done for my relatives in Italy.

I had a lot of help from Stampin' Up.

At the workshop we completed 16 cards in total. This punch art card was done using the square lattice embossing folder on white and green card. The white card had shimmer paint lightly rubbed over it giving it a pearl look. The pudding was done using the large circle punch in brown & a base cut off it. The frosting was another circle hand cut and hi lighted with stickles and the "holly" was stamped in green on green card from the Stampin' Up - Christmas Classics stamp set and then cut out.

The sentiment was done using Tiny Tags stamps and punch set and the "merry" was also stamped on the envelope in co -ordinating colours. The pudding was adhered with 3D foam. So simple.
Dasher Card
Card stock used for this card : Early Espresso, Naturals Ivory, Confetti Cream.
Stamps: Stampin' Up - Dasher, Perfect Punches.
Punches : Circle, border punch.
Inks : Early Espresso, Versa Mark, Crumb Cake.
Marker : Early Espresso.
Sundries : Gold embossing powder, Clear Embossing powder, Lace, Colour Spritzer Tool.

The trick on this card was to stamp the body of Dasher with Early Espresso & the horns with Versa Mark clear emboss the body but gold emboss the horns.
The edges of the Confetti Cream is spritzed with the Early Espresso marker as is the edges of the envelope.

The Perfect Punch sentiment is gold embossed & adhered with 3D dimensional tape.

This is my version of the card using Stamp It - Leafy Antlers, Filigree Deer: Stampin' Up - Snow Swirled sentiment.
